In the presence of architecture and interior design students, faculty as well as other members of the Department of Architecture, and College of Engineering, two internationally renowned architects, Mrs. Elke Delugan-Meissl and Mr. Roman Delugan, founders of the Vienna-based architectural office Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, visited rAjman University of Science & Technology.

The two distinguished architects delivered an open lecture and presented several projects designed by their office. Among these projects are the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, the Film Museum in Amsterdam and Darat King Abdullah II in Amman.

The lecture was part of a five-day architectural workshop organized by the Architectural Engineering Department in AUST College of Engineering. The theme of the workshop focused on the design of facades.

Students were asked to design facades of a medium-size building under the watchful eye of the guest architects. The final designs were presented on the last day of the workshop, and participants received certificates signed by Mrs. Delugan-Meissl and Mr. Delugan.

This is the fifth lecture in a series of workshops within the activities of the Architecture Department. The visits along with the workshop were coordinated by Dr. Jihad Awad of the Department of Architecture.
