The American University in the Emirates organized the second Car Show, which was inaugurated under patronage of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum.

With four categories of cars present, those were: the exotic, classic, modified and the best interior. Likewise, the first handicap car in the UAE was displayed in the Show. There were 12 awards given out, with 3-winners for each category.

Professor Muthanna’ Abdul Razzaq, the President and CEO of the AUE said: “The AUE is keen to hold the Car Show for the second time, because it reflects our interest in our students and their activities to strengthen their abilities and their development in a positive way, and diversify their cultures in various fields of life.”

One of the students expressed his joy in participating in the second Car Show, saying: “I am delighted to be one of the participants in the second car show. It is through this Show that I got to practice my favourite hobby, and realized my dream by participating in the competition of the best design!” He added: “AUE is not only a place to study, but rather most appropriate place to develop capacities and the way to success in all the fields of life. And this encourages us to organize for more events to contribute more in the progress of our university AUE.”
