After weeks of late-night social challenges, and after hours athleticism and bringing the fun back into sport, the five members of the PUMA Social National Team challenge have been named for the UAE.
The PUMA Social campaign took momentum in the UAE creating a huge buzz around old school sports and the champions who have what it takes have now been named the ultimate After Hours Athletes, forming the PUMA Social UAE National Team.
The highly acclaimed National Team Jury selected the winners last week from hundreds of applications from uploaded videos of wannabe After Hours Athletes vying for the top spot. The 5-strong team are now the face of the PUMA Social campaign in the UAE – and not only will they be sporting the latest PUMA Social lifestyle clothes when out and about finding fellow After Hours Athletes, and spending their Late Night Party Allowance – but are going to be the faces of PUMA’s prime-time advertising campaign, appearing in all stores across the Middle East.
The PUMA Social National Team are:
David Roche: Ping Pong
By day, David is an engineer, but by night, he’s a PUMA Social sportstar! Interested in music & sports, David plays soccer and rugby as well as Irish sports hurling and Gaelic football… as well as Late Night games, of course!
Ross Byrne: Bowling
Ross works in marketing and is into sport and clubbing, making him the perfect After Hours Athlete – merging the two key ingredients that make the Late Night Champions who they are.
Laila Shaheen: Darts
Laila is a PR whizz and knows how to promote her After Hours skills! Laila got her amazing shot on the first try – which made her the natural winner.
Vilmos Foldes: Billiards
Vilmos is a professional pool player and coach, so no wonder his trick blew the judges away (and his competition out of the playing field!) When he’s not playing pool, Vilmos loves to travel and is into fashion.
Shelton Rego: Foosball
Shelton is a student and so is no stranger to late night pursuits! He loves spending his free time outdoors but makes sure that he doesn’t get too much fresh air that might impact on his After Hours skills!
